There is an Opportunity to Showcase for Every Student
1. Regional Expo
Students may choose to participate in the Regional Expo, State Convention, or both. Students have the option to participate virtually and/or in-person.
March 9, 2024 - Registration opens for participating in the Regional Expo and State Convention.
April 8, 2024- Application deadline for participating in the Regional Expo.
April 13, 2024 - In-person Regional Expo in Falls Church, VA.
April 20, 2024 - In-person Regional Expo in Norfolk, VA
2. State Convention
Educators should encourage selected students to improve their submission based on feedback received at the Regional Expo. The State Convention will be held virtually.
April 21, 11:59 pm - Application deadline for participating in the State Convention.
April 21-27, 2024 - Virtual judging for State Convention.
April 30, 2024 - Virtual award announcement.
3. National Convention
A select number of students will get the opportunity to showcase in-person at the National Convention.
Educators should encourage selected students to improve their submission based on feedback received.
June 5-7, 2024 - The National Convention will be held in-person at the Henry Ford Museum of American Innovation in Dearborn, Michigan.
Supporters are encouraged tune in and help celebrate all of our inventors at the awards ceremony on June 7th.
